The rules only go to Churches. State Park is ok for SUS. No mention of spots between (Middles, Lowers, Barbwire, Cottons) so theoretically they should be fine. The Lifeguards have zero knowledge of the rules so it's hit and miss when you SUS those spots. Some say stay 50 ft away from proners, some say to leave and some just drive by and do nothing. I had all 3 of these responses within a 1 hour session at Middles.

Btw, plenty of room for SUS/Butt-Surfers/Proners at DP today because the waves were on the unfriendly side.
