Looks like business as usual in the Land Down Under! I like the remoteness of that spot. Not a whole lot of that left here in NJ. Sweet vid. I give it the "Thumbs Up" too!
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

...technical question: at 3:50 DJ's friend suffers what I'd call a 'blowout'.  I have had a number of these when the thrust of the wave seems to ramp up very quickly, usually (I think) when it closes out, and blows the board out from under me.  What's the cure?

Anticipate the wave breaking, get low, lean forward, and use you paddle to gain speed.

DJ, It would become monotonous if I thanked you every time I enjoyed one of your videos, so I'll only thank you every now and then, even though I've enjoyed them all thoroughly.

I’m glad I don’t have a spot like that close to my house, or else I would have a sick leave problem at work.

Nice video DJ

Cool vid, thanks.  Your spot seems to break a lot like DogPatch does here in SoCal.
