Back in the no-handle day, I wanted a Big Hook SOOO bad.
Being cheap, I ended making one from an outdoor hose holder that I found at a thrift store for 5 bucks.

Worked good too. Just funky enough that nobody would steal it.

Smaller boards and the new ledge handles made those things obsolete.
