New Maui Paddle Board Race

 Fun race for those who gave it a go! Challenging, but fun. Brown water start was not as bad as it usually is after a rain. The much anticipated heavy rain didn't show. The water cleared shortly after leaving the gulch unlike some days where it runs brown past hookipa. The swells made the paddle on par with a paddle in dec. In addition they were breaking in places that were out of the norm. Definitely had to keep your eyes on them to avoid carnage. That's the thrill of maliko!
