French SUP race Championships- Beach Race through OH surf!

If you've never surfed a race board in overhead surf, this is what to expect. You got to surf off the tail. If the nose grabs, you're done. Good video.

Fantastic video. The skill of number 27 from the 9 min 46 sec mark in surfing those conditions is remarkable, and it looks like he thoroughly he deserved his success. Is this a candidate for the biggest conditions we've seen yet in a BOP-style event? All the competitors deserve full credit for taking on those conditions.

What a great event. I wish they more of that style of racing here. Not really BOP, but more of an in and out of the surf. Reminds me of the early surf slalom days in windsurfing.
