Has anyone tried a SoloShot
« on: April 18, 2014, 07:52:21 PM »
Friend told me about this https://soloshot.com/ and seems like I can finally get my kook recorded.  I just need to figure out how to keep it from getting stolen when I go surfing by myself.

The Soloshot has come up here before.  If you enter it in "search" you should find quite a bit.  As I recall, the best thing to do (for guys) is to find a very good looking woman on the beach, and ask her to watch it for you while you're on the water, and also ask her to hold the little transmitter until you get back.

Too bad it won't take a picture of the guy running off with your camera and tripod.
Or if it does, you'd never know it.

I have one from the first gen model and the work pretty decently!
Ok to get vids, awesome to train with because it allows you to analise both your surfing and your paddle technique if you know what to look for when watching the videos.

The new model looks like the thing to have since it pans, tilts and zooms in and out.
I'm not 100% sure but I think it will also allow you to start and stop the camera!

I hate it when people analise my paddle technique. Sorry Johnny, couldn't resist.

It's all good.
I guess you'd also misspell words if you were writing in portuguese. ;D

Indubitably, but that was just too much fun to pass up.

And that would be a poor translation to Brazilian portuguese.
If it was proper portuguese, you'd say:
Tal como disseste, está tudo bem.

I have the 1st one, it's kinda a pain in the ass. Used it a little while but now leave it at home, kinda sucks.
