Yeah recognized Kai right away. That was how old he was when I first saw him SUP.  He and dad Martin paddled out at a spot a bit south of Rincon when I was just learning to SUP. Martin is an old friend from Santa Barbara windsurf days. Hadn't seen him since I used to live in Maui late 80's. Well of course Kai is just killing it on what looked to be a 7' board. Martin looking great as well. I held my head in shame but it was a great surprise for them to show up and hang out.  He is and will continue to develop as quite the waterman.
