New boards from GSI.

While in my local SUP store yesterday (RPS) I saw some very new boards from Global Surf Industries.. This is the first anyone has seen these new boards (world wide) and they should be available soon.. They are a part of a new range called Adventure Paddleboarding and there is a huge range that for the first time covers children.. These are just two of the Allrounder shapes and they also have a range of flat water pointy nose boards.. These boards go down to 7' in length.. even the flat water boards.. Perfect for children.. This little green board is 7' x 27" and 92ltrs.. and retail for $845.. The 9'8" is under $1000 and the 11' flat water board that I saw was under $1300... Pretty good prices I thought.. I liked the tie down points on the deck and they felt pretty light.. They also looked very durable.. It will be interesting to see how these boards perform.

For them little groms in Connecticut or Santa Barbara - rich kids.  Would a small'ish longboard with a deck pad work for a little kid?

I saw these last week on the website.  Good idea I think. I've started thinking about  options for my daughter.  She is starting to get old enough.
