Looks like Brady will play the opener this week.  That whole charge against him was so BS anyway.

That too.   ::)

Seriously, the NFL has had several disciplinary actions overturned recently.  That could say something about problems with its disciplinary process.

How does that go? The teams provide game balls. They prep them or whatever and THEN the game balls are handed over to some employee/zebra/official/crew of the league before the game? Been done that way for years?  Doesn't it go something like that?
Who is the idiot who thought they could really stick one to NE with that?
"uhmmmm, mister goddelll, Mister Gooddelll....we have something for you about Bradys balls........"
Roger Gooddell.......sheesh. What a fine image he has painted of his league.
With that said, I have liked Brady since that superbowl against the Rams in his first season and seeing his look and performance in the last minute or so of that game completely unflustered even tho he FUMBLED the ball against the Raiders in that blizzard the game before.

PDLSFR. I think you either completely misunderstood me or that I was not able to convey what I thought. BS this whole deflated balls thing. Completely and without a doubt in my mind. A witch hunt so to say I am convinced of BUT, there is some funny stuff out there all the same.
I have followed and been a fan of the SF Giants and SF 49ers for all but 50 years. Ever since I have known what baseball or football were. I can say, I have followed through some horrible teams of losing seasons and never have been ashamed to be a fan. Long stretches for both teams. Even Barry Bonds....when he was playing, or even now. (too many words to go there here) I have never been ashamed to be a fan but I have felt a slight bit of shame the last year or so with the Niners (which is also too many words to go with now). Was it Harbaugh or the ownership/management team? I kind of think I know but I thought when Jed York took over from his mom and dad it was going to be like the days of Eddie D. Hi dad could care less about the team on the field it seemed.  We'll see how the Niner season plays out.

Probably not half as bad as Brady's back up QB, I'll bet down deep inside he's really pissed.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Lucabrasi Your map has Hawaii all in red but ;D I know that most here think this deal is trumped up. (and now we really know how that word is defined)  I'm saying Brady is cool with us from out here on the lake.

I believe Brady/Pats are guilty of something. The whole smoke/fire scenario. But there was no hard evidence so... I also believe that every team/player in the NFL is trying to find an edge on and off the field. This stuff is common practice and really not a big deal.

My grandmother refuses to believe Tom Terrific could do anything wrong but she also believes the big bag of weed she found back when I was in 11th grade was not mine. Gotta love grandmas.  :D

This whole "deflate gate" has been awesome for the NFL. No publicity is bad. Ever. I mean its been what 7-8 months of non stop quasi football rhetoric. This single handedly stole the airwaves on sports talk radio. If people don't stop watching the NFL cuz of the arrests, the drug abuse and the concussions you think this is gonna phase the publics appetite. I think not. The NFL is about da $$$$$$ more so than any other pro sport and the owners love it!!! Goodel is not going anywhere. Its strictly business. In fact the NFL reminds me a great deal of the WWE. With Godell playing the biggest heal.

ON TO THE STEELERS!
