Stopped by SIC a couple of days ago and there was a drone guy flying around looking down into the canefield. His buddy lost his quad in the can so they were taking video hoping to spot it. They'd do better using a standard rope quad search, but it could work, yeah?

I mentioned the above video, saying it didn't seem to be very low. He replied that the guy who shot it did one the next day that was, Right down at barrel level. I haven't seen it yet--shot the 20th.

I guess there were two drones lost that day. The guy who shot the video up top lost one, and some other crew lost one. I think they pilot from the cliff, which seems like a big mistake. I'd be going from a boat.  

I've reserved one of the H2O kits. I think it offers a better chance for serious wave video. I'll be building a landing deck on my Hobie Trimaran. Could be fun, could be a drag. We'll see. http://www.quadh2o.com/

Is that real or is that Laura Croft. I wonder if Xensr is gonna do these videos with xsnsr data on the drops, etc. the data might not be all that cool. Great video though. My god what a mess.
