Redfish in mosquito lagoon
« on: January 05, 2014, 07:16:56 PM »
We finally had some good weather in Florida where is was not cold and windy and not making fishing real fun.  Sorry for the rest of the country ,but yeah I was in boardshorts and light fishing shirt.

Ended up with a couple of red fish and paddled probably 6-7 miles.  It was sunny and mild out pretty much all day.

Very nice. I fish around Vero and Ft Pierce most every weekend. Keep hearing how great Mosquito Lagoon is. Where did you put in at?

My fishing Board got stolen last weekend. When I get it replaced I'm looking to make a trip up there.

Hey Old School,

Sorry about your board being stolen.  Mosquito lagoon is a great place to fish.  I love to fish down in you area too.  I have a boat ramp in my neighborhood, so I am only a couple houses away from it.  If I don't feel like taking the boat, it is easy for me to grab a rod and throw the board in and go fish.
