According to my pal who was on a ski helping out, Kai's drop was almost inverted at the top.  Tail over the nose, but as you can see he made it.

Awesome... It would be interesting to know the board and fin setup he used.  Obviously Kai's skill makes it happen, but his setup had to be able to handle the speed and bumps.
