Nice Lake MI sequence

My friend Matt made a trip to the Northwoods and got this cool sequence from Saturday on Lake MI.  The board is his own shape, a 9'4x30" he calls the Warchild.

I'm healing water-ratt, thanks, and my last couple sessions I've barely felt a thing.  Yeah, it was a bummer to not do the weekend surf trip with the guys but I did get out each day  in some of my usual places.  It was quite a crew that travelled, though, with stand up paddlers, shortboarders, longboarders and even a bodyboarder all coordinating and meeting up at the spots, including a young grom.  It was a chilly weekend.  There were some great pics of all of them!

Here's a couple pics of passing the torch and a decent one of Matt well inside from the point.  Not bad for an inland lake!

Those sure are pretty clean waves for the lakes... The winds of November are here!

BTW, you should also post those sequences on the main Sessions forum.. So the world can see that Great Lakes surfing is for real.   . (Yeah I know most Zoners know, but lots would love to see 'em. )
