It still hasn't happened yet while I've been watching. I'm waiting for that perfect day out here.

Let me guess...the perfect sandbar waiting for the that deepwater swell?

It going to take a perfect ENE big swell on an outgoing mid tide and light offshore winds. Protected by arm of Cape Cod to east and south and Gurnett point to the north. A very narrow swell window. Can't wait for the day it all comes together though. Most likely time would be while a winter nor'easter that skims past the coast is pulling away.

Strange how things look the same on the small and large scales....could be an electron micrograph of something you'ld rather not know about that lives in your body or it could be a cloud nebula as seen from the hubble space telescope....fractals within fractals.

It's SUParadise....just waiting for it to happen.

Take a look at the map link Poppy. It is a large sandbar waiting for that perfect swell. It just doesn't happen often.
