VIDEO - SUP surf compilation on the great lakes, 2012

i compiled a bunch of random gopro clips from some sessions during the 2012 year and made a little edit. this was all shot on lake huron. 90% of the video was shot 5 mins down the road from me 

i'm really lucky to be able to surf fresh water like this

Nice job man!  Some great shots and great surfing in there!  I've shared it with some of my Huron surf friends not on the Zone.  You've helped us get through this lull a bit easier!

cheers man i appreciate the kind words. summer is brutal on the lakes for waves but i dunno about your way but looks like we have a cold front coming this fri/sat which will bring some SW friday and some NW on saturday. Those rare summer days you get where you can trunk it are always welcome haha

Very nice....I love "sweet water surf"...I was just in New Buffalo Michigan but it was super flat...awesome for paddling though

cheers guys! looks like we are getting more in the next 24 hours. i have my new L41 S4 and it's gonna bring my riding to the next level i can already tell. so loose and fast. tomorrow dawn patrol should be like 4ft and around 8 sec period. pretty damn good for here! and the water is 75 degrees. trunking it!!!!

Maybe you know... how is Inverhuron on a NW? It looks like it could be nice and sheltered in the bay, and I've long been thinking about driving up there when there's nothing over here on Lake O.
