Found this and thought it was interesting. Another old and trusted windsurfing company comes to SUP. Cort's a name from the past  ;) Now I know where he's been.

I want one!

Cort Larned!

It's always nice to see what a pionner/legend of windsurfing is doing 30 years after the glory days!

Powerex had an excellent reputation in the windsurf world. Had 2 of them, myself.

No doubt that their paddles will be popular.

Best Booms and Masts out by far from the windsurfing side.  Paddle looks nice but really wide?  Or is it just the photo?

I have one and absolutely love it. Its stronger and lighter then any other paddle i have used. Its also a better price point. I have a couple of them at my shop if you want to demo one stop by the shop.  I am sure you will love it. I have gone through plenty of paddles and this seems to be the best one for me.  The handle is a bit smaller but not a issue.

Cort knows Carbon fiber and these paddles Kick ass.

Wonderful job Cort making a great and comfortable paddle.
Aloha

Its also a better price point.

Web site shows MSRP at $349.00         That sounds high.

Are there more models not shown on the web?

Different blade widths?

I can't imagine a paddle any lighter than the Kialoa's... and when you say stronger do you mean stiffer?

I'll have to hassle my local shop to get one in so I can check it out.

I have 3 of them in my truck for people to try. If you see me out in Maui ask me and i will gladly let you try one.

I love the feel of this paddle. Feels strong and sure in the hand.

Everyone who has tried them seems to like them and want to buy one. We just dont have stock to sell yet.

The price on the first batch was retailing for $299. they have retooled the factory so there might be a new price for the new technology they are using to make the paddles.  Cort is coming to Maui sunday to do some paddling so I will ask him myself.
