A 6'4" that is 25 1/2 inches wide?   They must be catering to the SUP crowd that buys carbon boards.

I see what's going on here, going after the SUP types that are used to paying that kind of money for a board, uh huh, but this time the board is just a little bit smaller.
Those prices, all I can say is "Holy Crap!".

But that's just me.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Huh. I don't know jack about scratching, but the prices don't seem that much higher than what I've seen at surf shops around my house in SD... ?

My Starboard rep was stoked on how tuff they were as he let it drop in our gravel parking lot. I pulled a rock out of the bottom and handed his board back to him.

I demo'd the 5'7" (4 lbs). Too narrow for me.
The 5'4" sounds about right...nice and wide. This is a board you buy knowing it will last many years beyond your $700 Merrick.

Would love to try the 6'4" but at that price it's a deal breaker for me  :o

A lot to pay for a stiff surfboard. Light board creates a lighter wallet. Would rather buy a 1992 Honda civic and drive it off the pier.

My only question is how will the fickle surf tribes take to a company that cut its teeth with sailboards and then, heaven forbid, SUPs!!
