I prefer to look at the year as 1/4 started, not over!  :)

Our season of SUPing here in the Midwest is just about kicking into gear, now that the pesky ice has melted away, ahhhhhhh.

Session count is kind of personal.  Isn't that like asking someone how much money they have?

Wave count, now these are some stats I can share:

With work going crazy after a few slow years, I am a bit more focused on paying down debt abd getting our youngest through his last 2 years at Concordia U, in Irvine.  He surfs way more than me.  But living on the Delta, a 2 hour drive from Santa Cruz,  and going on several camp (motorhome trips) to Ventura, I have actually been in the water more than I thought.  The below count will increase by 10 days in April (Camping at San Elijo SP)  Lots of work to get done before the 12th.

Flat Water- 17 days- Avg 1.5hrs
Surf SUP- Ventura/Santa Barbara 6 days Multiple sessions, from 2-6 ft
Surf SUP- Santa Cruz 5 days (Day trips) all overhead days (We only go when there is swell)
Prone Surf- 5 days  (I try to SUP and surf when I go)  More time and waves on SUP.

Do DW glides on an extra long board count?  We get around 60-70/run and average around 10 seconds long.

Beasho, you have a pretty high wave count and I agree about asking session counts.

Wow!  Haven't done that yet.  I feel like a kid in a candy shop.  So much to try  8)

Beasho,
Explain Solo Percent and Fun Average to me.  I love charts. I just want to understand what I'm sure are great ways to track your fun.

I don't want to hijack, but I started a thread on the metrics a while back Wave Count . . Happiness (http://www.standupzone.com/forum/index.php?topic=18183.msg172202#msg172202)

Solo is the # of waves with no one else in the line-up (or at the break).  Fun: New metric arbitrary rating 1 - 10.  I have never recorded a 1 (extreme wind/near death) or a 10 (clean Fijian dream session) yet.

Ooops, forgot to put my "session" count, which one hand suffices.
Lets see,
Once on Lake Michigan before it froze over
Once on the Des Plaines river

Yup, just two, dang.

I just got my board in February...maybe 10?  I know I've been out 4 times in the last 2 weeks so maybe it's more than that. Either way I'm having a blast, so glad I can go whenever the mood strikes me...and the weather cooperates!

I just got back from 2 months in Costa Rica so...... I'm guessing about 50 sessions there.  Don't worry, I'll only get 5-10 during the next 10 months, so it all evens out !!  ;)
