Excelent first voyage.  I guess when you live on Povones,  your first left on any new board is sure to at least be a 25 -30 seconds-  Jealous!!!  I think I'm going to be planning a trip again soon.  Need to practice some lefts.

Pilon
Nice place to break her in... looks like you had no trouble adjusting :D

Did I ever ask you if you knew my friend Greg?
He and his wife Heidi owned a spectacular Bed & Breakfast at Pavones for years.
Greg lived with me at Sunset Beach in 1978, when he was 17.... and I was 30 (I have always been the "Old Guy")

I ran into him, SUP surfing this fall... after not seeing him since he moved to Pavones.

Thanks for the comments guys, its a great board but i haven't touched it since going to a twin fin (fish).

creek
Kinda know them. With all the surf around here i rarely get to Pavones.
I've heard stories though..he's an"OG"..cool he SUP's now.
I'd love to see him rip these waves on one.
I think his stint in Pavones is over for now....cool u got to see an old friend.
We may have all surfed together back in 78..crazy huh.
pura vida & aloha!
