Guy was awesome and was remarkable with little last microsecond adjustments not to hit others in the line up.  Big powerful guy too.   I love Dire Straits.  Crowded spot and he just waded thru it like there wasn't a soul in the place.  Pretty cool.

There is nothing bashful about this guy.  He cranks spray over everyone near him, charges through the crowd, and surfs the oxygen out of those waves.  Clearly an alpha.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's an alpha male thing. Just more of a Brazilian thing.

Most Brazilians love to have fun and show off in the water. In my trips to Brazil, I've found Brazilians surfers are much more tolerant of SUPs and are more friendly in the water. However, that may not be the case everywhere in Brazil.
