lisabears...
plenty of time for paddling.... enjoying an abundance of wildlife is always the winner in my book.
Just being is a place so peaceful that the animals emerge, is just totally awesome!

Really nice to see everyone's pictures.
Here's one from last week
Thanks, Supthecreek, totally agree.  It's one of the nicest things about this activity.  I love wildlife and nature in general.  This thread is so great to see all the amazing places everyone paddles.

Two more from Marsh Creek.  Sorry, these photos are not good, I rented a point and shoot, I'm too scared to bring my good DSLR on a board.

Just saw these - nice pictures.  My wife and I usually SUP in Lake Nockamixon (or Lake Galena if we're in a hurry).  Maybe March Creek would be a nice place to explore too.  What's it like in the summer?  Crowded?
Hi, Leecea.  Marsh Creek is really nice, especially since it is 20 minutes from home.  It does get crowded in the summer, but early mornings are more quiet.  I've heard late afternoon is better also (on weekends).  It's also not too busy after work during the week in summer.  There are a lot of really nice people there.  You can launch from the East or West side.  Parking can be tricky when it is busy. It's been quiet since turning colder.  I do plan on paddling in the winter once in a while.

The only other lake I SUPed in is Nockamixon, it was great and so much bigger and very pretty.

If you want more info on Marsh Creek I can provide my email address to you.

That is a great photo. Thanks for sharing it.

BTW, when I was still working and not retired, I wouldn't have mind going to and from work like that everyday. Talk about scratching that itch for sup everyday.  ;)

Sundown on Lake Travis Austin TX.  October is the perfect time for paddling in Central Texas.  Air and water temps are actually reasonable!

It's not always high traffic in Dutch waters. Here's what it's like when its calm in Holland.

The waterway and the color of the Dutch scenery looks to make for a nice leisurely sup paddling experience.

I love all these pictures... endless beauty on the water, everywhere you look!

Cold, windy and miserable today, so I was looking at pics from last month  :)
