Thanks. Some beautiful shots of your paddling spots too. Yeah, the trees are on the edge of a river delta that gets high water every year, which is coming soon here. A large part of the poplar stand in that area can be paddled in spring/early summer. The water had actually come down quite a bit and you can see the high water mark on the trees in the second pic. The third pic is from a different lake.

We had flooded Willow woodland on the Thames this winter but it was the only flooded part I didn't paddle..

New Suffolk , NY looking south towards Robbins Island with Southampton in the back round.. Flat calm most of the day , had a side chop on the way back.
