"SIC hired us to shoot some aerial video of the top 5 SUP racers in the world.  We jumped on the chance to shoot some great footage of amazing athletes in one of the most beautiful
places in the world.  They needed footage to play at their display booth at the Outdoor Retail Show and at the Surf Expo in Florida.

Worked for me on second link SEA posted.  Cool pro production video.  I was surprised at how low the heli got ... almost looked like jetski footage at one point.  Too bad the light was blah.

SEA--thanks.  It's a nice complement to the water level videos of headmount, DJ, etc.  The aerial view is great for showing the swells moving through in relationship to the paddlers and vice versa.  Helps me understand what goes on.

Maybe this is the next Maliko toy ! ??  Is this how they filmed them out there ?  This video is from the same production team that filmed the SIC crew at maliko.

Maybe that is how they got so low and close without any Helicopter wind ??

Yeah tha's cool but can it fly in strong wind?  PBill has one in HR.  Maybe he'll bring it over here and we can goof around with it.  Just don't want to get too close to the rotors... all four of them.

I really like the perspective in the top video.  Very neat to see the swell lining up and I enjoyed how the paddlers were zipping around one another.  It seems to loose a sense of speed though?  I only viewed it from my phone so maybe I'm wrong, but the ground level pov seems to help convey the speed on the runners a little better?  Regardless, mesh that with Headmount and Jeremy's other videos and that's quality tv for me.

Who are the paddlers?  Mark, Jeremy, Livio, is it Talia?
