Great Lakes Paddleboards? - Expedition?

I am looking at the Expedition boards from Great Lakes Paddleboards.

From what I have learned from their email contact, these are made in China epoxy fiberglass construction.
Weight is 22 to 25 pounds. (1) year warranty.

Any thoughts or comments on greatlakespaddleboards.com
or these boards?

The Expedition 14' and 12' are on the www.theclymb.com for 1,699. (with cf paddle)

What would be comparable boards in this price range?
Is this a good deal?

I saw that this morning, I had been waiting for them to sell some paddleboards on there. Unfortunatly I dont know anything about that brand. I was hoping for more of a discount, but it still seems like a pretty good deal.

I inquired to Great Lakes Paddleboards contact email annd recieved this reply:

"The shapes are very much the future of Lake paddling.
You won't have to worry that in 1-2 years these designs will be out dated.
In fact you will see other brands copying and bringing similar shape boards into the market over the next few years."

What would be comparable boards to the Expedition?

are intersting...........seems to be similer to  Great Lakes Paddleboards Expedition?

why the 2011 and not the 2012 model?
Is it just because 2011 is priced less?

I looked at the Great Lakes boards too. But I am leaning towards the Riviera Voyager and the Amundson 12'6" TR.......the Amundson is my first choice because of the reviews I have heard on it.
