Zane was on fire.  Kai was a little better in the last heat.  They both said it was fun and better than having to fight the short boarders and the negative attitueds at the crowded breaks back home.  The second video down is kai talking about how similar pistol is to the world event in brazil.  Not sure if that means brazil is junky.

No question sup extends the possibility if you have the talent.  I grew up in North County San Diego so I guess i cut my teeth on  beach breaks.  It's all fun.

man Zane just kills it! im with newton he needs to get the title. his board control is just crazy - so many spins. i cannot figure those things out for the life of me.
as far as style goes and trick arsenal, he is my fav dude reppin the sport at this moment. Kai has style for days and does some next to impossible turns, but i think Zane is a more progressive rider.

The thing I see in Zane is he is just so strong on the board giving him so much control when he pivots.  When I see him getting so physical is reminds me of a tailback making a monster cutback.  Last year watching him I could not believe he hadn't won on the tour.  Put it all together in Hilo.
The waves here in Gold Beach are perfect for his style and hope he crushes it.  It was unreal to hear him  be so up for the finals in a little contest he said something like "lets go this is for the money".  Made my day.

Very cool. Zanes got such power but a lot of grace as well. Crazy how he held on to a couple of those spins.

Thanks for watching stoneaxe.  unreal 4600 + post.  Zane"s footwork is so solid.  I have been going through the rest of the footage from the surftech shootout.  The world tour guys like zane and Kai are so far removed from the rest of us that it is sick.  I can only imagine what they will be doing when the hit their prime.
