Hi Everyone,

I'm selling my new Naish Mana 9'5" Bamboo in order to purchase a Uli FAQ for travel.  I purchased the Mana in August 2011 in Delaware and paddled it about four times on flat water before work kept me off the water in the fall.  There are no dings, scratches or marks.  It is in new condition.  I'm asking $1650 - from what I hear the 2012 Naish Mana in bamboo is retailing for close to $2000.  Save yourself some money.

PM me with any questions.  See the craigslist ad for photos.

Perhaps you've never sold anything before.  One of the most annoying things that happens when selling something is having several people low ball you with offers that include $500 cash and a "really awesome $1000 camera I bought last year."  Or sometimes you get the, "I'm really interested in your item, and I want to buy it, but I only have $600.  Wait two weeks and I'll give you $800."   Setting a price high helps avoid those issues.

I think it's pretty obvious that this is not a deal when you consider last years price.  It is basically what I paid for it when you consider the costs associated with purchasing the board. Additionally, it is in new condition, and I felt that the price should reflect that.  Just know that the high asking price means I'm not a motivated seller.  You can also be sure I won't post this multiple times dropping the price in $50 increments.

If you are interested, PM me and make an offer.

Supguy35 was being kind. The fact is, we're seeing used 2010/2011 demo boards going for about $900-$1,000 (now). I would expect that you would get anywhere from $1,100 to $1,250 for your really nice 2011.  Thats only a 20% haircut.  And no, that's not an offer.

Listen, I get it.  I understand how goods depreciate, even if they are in perfect condition.  See my previous comments for an explanation.  I'm certainly not expecting someone to offer what I am asking.

Is this forum somehow different from the real-world-make-a-low-offer-negotiate-price-down situation?  I doubt it.

OK, I gotta bite...what are the "costs associated w/ purchasing the board".  Are you factoring in the gas and tolls to/fr the shop you bought it from??   Cheesy

I love finding drama in the classified section.
