Lakes in Minnesota

What are the best lakes around Minneapolis to go for a long paddle? Just getting the boards and everything else now so I am excited to see what all of these lakes have to offer.

Man, there's a zillion of them. When I did my tour of race tracks back in 2007 I spent a little time in Minneapolis and I had a Starboard 12'6" on my rack. I paddled several different lakes and a rivers around Minneapolis. You're spoiled for choice.
