Surf Racks for a Jeep CJ.....

I have been restoring a 1979 Jeep CJ 5,it almost finished. I was thinking about trying to hall all my surf gear with it ,but will not have a top. Does anyone make racks for a jeep with no top? Thanks in advance for the help!

use the roll bar and hood latches. works fine on my old cj and now fj40.

I used to just fold the windsheild down and tie my windsurfer across the seat back and out over the hood.  When I moved to the coast my much thinner longboard would slide between the top of the windsheild and the light bar, then  back  to the rollbar.

It's a pretty easy DIY project. Next one I make will be stainless though. The rack on the funmobile is 3/4 rust.

Just remembered my friends old hangglider set up. He used reciever hitches front and back to hold two tall Tee shaped racks to support the kite. added bonus of being removable.
