Yesterday we did a dawn DW'er and saw one of the best sunrises that I've seen in ages.

Shame the GoPro didn't pick up the colors very well and it was pointed a bit low.

The wind was good and we got some great runners while most people were still in bed..  Grin

Great video. The more of these I watch, the more I'm convinced I need to give it a try. Even have a run picked out, just need something longer than 8'6". Thanks for sharing.

I noticed a pfd being worn.  Is this one individual or are more of you wearing them?

Jean wore one.. (paddling with me on the 12'6" Fanatic) and PT wore one (on the 12'6" Starboard) because he almost always does.. We were not really sure how the run would go.. It honked all night with some very strong gusts and there was a change due soon and we sometimes get super strong before and sometime it moderates before.. That day it moderated but it was still good.. It's a pretty safe run that we do.. It's in the bay and not open ocean and were are never that far from the shore.. We also pair up and look out for each other.. So we don't usually wear PFD's.
