This event is sanctioned by the Puerto Rico Surfing Federation. PRSF members will accumulate points for the 2012 circuit. Nothing extra to paid, only the race entry fee.

Every year we select a local artisan to create unique trophies. This year the honor for  our local shaper: Monchito. He's been dedicated for a  couple of weeks to shape & glass Mini SUPs & Raceboards (33" lenght). Not an easy job, but  the final product will be really nice.

 I'm flyin down tomorrow (Tues) for 6 days. Stayin at the Courtyards in Aguadilla. Planning on a mixed Sup/Surf/Business trip. I'll be visiting the shops around the west end giving out info on the Exocet Sup's, KeNalu paddles, Whiskeyjack paddles and the Epic Gear paddles and accessories... If you P.R. guys will let me know if your shop does SUP stuff, I'll make sure to get by.    Paddle on,          JD

 Hey Mr 413. Trophies look great.... Looking forward to the building swell here in PR tomorrow. I did make it by the Rincon Dive/Surf shop today and left a dealer book with a very sweet and nice oriental girl (Georgett?)...
 We may make it back down that way on Friday and maybe Saturday too. I'm traveling with some friends and have to be respectful of their wishes too... Paddle on, JD

Looks like a fun swell.
But...we will like to meet you! If you come Friday, try to stick around and make it to the pre-registration of the event at the Lobby of the Villa Cofresi Hotel (between 6pm and 9pm). We will be there having a great time.
On Saturday, I'll be working @ the event (starting at 6:30 am).
