i have the werner fuse 3-pce adjustable - pretty good as
a travel paddle - it does fill up with water if you dont tape the holes and
joints

when will ponobill get his genius onto this matter ?

i am sure the kenalu travel paddle will fit in your pocket

I picked up a Hobie Inflatable SUP at the Surf Expo in Orlando. One of the reasons I got it is it comes with a 3 piece paddle that feels surprisingly good. It's a fiberglass paddle...not too heavy and feels solid. I plan to use it on surf trips as my backup paddle, plus I get to use the inflatable for flatwater and rivers in North Carolina. I've attached a couple of pics...Don't know what the retail price would be for the paddle by itself. Still, I was fairly impressed...TDE

I have a 3 piece C4 Waterman I travel with.  I really like it. I've had it for 2 1/2 years and it still works great.

Not exactly, but it WILL be virtually identical to our Elite or xTuf paddles once you stick it together. No wiggling, no pins. But you will need a hairdryer. And you can retrofit any Ke Nalu paddle into a 3 pc. Coming soon (I hope).

I have two 3pc werner paddles and they are great.  Very durable as they are fiberglass.  I have a smaller one for my girlfriend who rarely paddles so it doesn't take up much space. The other one is for me and I have only used it a couple times but it is nice.  They aren't as enjoyable as carbon paddles for more than an hour paddling but they are extremely portable.

wow.  so cool, and obvious once you switch to hot glue

Traveling with your own paddle will be so nice.

i have a 3 piece paddle made by cannon (MN based company)
they usually make kayak paddles. fiberglass shaft with polymer/plastic blade with aluminum
blade reinforcement. not fancy but effective. little heavy. adjustable holes on top so less likely to
get water in it. never replace any decent nonadjustable paddle fliberlass or carbon fiber but gets the job done and not affraid of breakage stuffed in my suitcase.

Werner made some 3 pc versions of the new Fiji paddle that you can buy from ULI for $165.  It's a nice recreational paddle and it's as bomb-proof as their boards.

Boardworks makes some. They have a nice lock that doesn't wobble as much as some of their 2 piece paddles, and they don't feel too cheesy(except for the plastic handles. Those bug me)
