been waiting so long for it and when it came in last week it was damaged in shipping
they have it all fixed up now! So sometime later today il be heading over to pick it up. dont think il be able to use it till next weekend but il definitely try. If i can figure out how to post pics i will if anyone is interested.

just curious, what was damaged? how did they fix it?

it had a nice size ding maybe 2 inches long on the top of the board around the starboard tiki guys foot.  but unfortunately... it was too cold today for the resin to dry or harden so hopefully tomorrow il have it. they started the fix last night i saw the first step he sanded it down then put some resin in the ding then he said he would sand it down put fiber glass over it then more resin? he said there was a few steps. the price dropped a lot because he knows how long iv been waiting and felt so bad because i was in the shop when they took it out of the box and i saw the ding and my heart sank

Good deal - you got a price drop on a ding that you know didn't take in any water!  Plus sooner or later you'll ding it yourself so now you can relax and not feel bad when it happens...

thats exactly what i was thinking, like with my guitars i treat them like sheets of glass until they get a ding i treat them still with care of course but not like an over protective mother. thats how i would have treated this board but the first ding is out of the way so i treat it like it should be.

I knew you were younger than many of us here, but when I saw that pic I thought WOW he's young. So that's your younger brother, eh? He into SUP yet?

Congrats on the new board, and I'll echo the others who say that it's a good thing to have a no-water-entry ding in there so now you can just enjoy and not worry about having a virgin board. I'm hoping to pick up my first SUP board in just over a week, so I'll share your stoke.
