I just got one of these.  Warm and comfy
Made in Oz
The jetski lifeguards at the local surf club all wear them
http://www.sharkskin.com.au/

We have them sold here in Spain and I was considering for winter months. Are you satisfied with the quality and wind protection? Does it get too warm?

Sorry for the late reply been away surfing for the last week
Quality is good and meant to be 100% windproof.  Weather is starting to warm up and wore it with boardies and was just right.  Otherwise I wear it under my steamer when we tow surf in winter.  Tow surfing is the opposite to SUP as you are up to your neck in water while waiting and it gets cold
West Oz is not a cold place and water does not get much below 17deg C

Well I would like to chime in for the ladies... Wetsi makes neoprene activewear out of 1 mm neoprene.  Full zip jackets, capri pants, rashguards, boardshorts, the works.  Its great for keeping the chill off, repelling the water and it looks fashionable.

The Quicksilver jacket definitely takes the bite off the windy spring days, but its not full neo. It fits loosely and dries out soon enough.. IMO CWX makes some very nice graduated thermal and non thermal compression pants and shirts. They seem to have tougher seems. Really like the 2XU c socks though and Zoot comes in a close second.
