Aqua Box (H2O proof casing) for iPhone

I just purchased the Aqua Box waterproof casing from Blue Planet Surf in Honolulu.  I was excited to try it out so headed to the beach with my rental SUP from Blue Planet.  My first impression was I felt it was quite large, but fits perfectly sideways into a standard boardshort pocket.

Anyway, I threw my iPhone in the case, turned on the EveryTrail GPS app and hit the water.  I jumped in the ocean, fell off my board, threw my phone on the beach into the sand, and even took ut under the shower for good measure.  I also took a couple of pics.  After playing with the case, my iPhone is still in working order.  No water entered the case!

The good things about this case is that it allows full functionality of your smartphone to include phone calls, texting, and playing music on your phone speaker.

The only draw back I can see is the transparent rubber front could rip easily and allow water in.  Remember, this case is not meant to be submerged for long periods at a time.

Perfect for SUP paddlers, downwinders, and anyone who wants the extra protection when bringing your phone to the beach, pool, lake, etc.

Thanks for the business and feedback.  I have been using the Aquabox with my iPhone as well and am very happy with it- good, solid case that I have more faith in than plastic bags.  I keep it in my pocket when doing open ocean runs for peace of mind.  I have not had any water enter it but I do check the silicone seal to make sure there is no dirt, sand or hair that could cause a leak.  For more information:
