Tommy Loy wins Church SUP contest

A great event to start the year for the Coalition of Surf Clubs.  SUP heats were stacked with talent like Leleo Kinimaka, Jeff Warner, Kevin Coffman, Jack Connor, Jeremy Portillo, David Boehene, Sverre Strom, Tommy Loy.

I wish promoters did a better job at spreading the word on contests like these.  Didn't hear of it until it was over.

SUP Surf Contest Held at Church Beach in San Diego, California

* Leleo Kinimaka got 2nd in his first heat behind his fellow team Nectar ripper Kevin Coffman.
He had to miss his 2nd heat (semi), so he wasn't in the finals.  He has been ripping and would have done well.
