My dog jumped right on and loves it.  Guess I was lucky.  The only drawback is he likes standing on the nose.  Wish he'ld ride a little more midships, but that's ok.  He much prefers freshwater.  No surfin'.  That's my time. ;D

I have a Jack Russell who loves the water or anything in general so when the water temp warms up to more than mid 30's here then she'll be on the board with me

Great episode--thanks for posting, Stoneaxe.

I have a friend who happens to be a dog, and I can't wait to get him out there now.

There are so many good quotes by Cesar Milan in the clip:

On a paddleboard, the only two states of mind they (the human and dog) can be in was calm assertive human, calm submissive dog.  Nothing else.  No agression, no fear, no tension, no anxiety.

The happiness on those dogs is priceless.

They should get married like that!

This has been the longest time in my 50+ years that I've had no dog. I feel like an idiot but I'm still hurtin over the loss of Samba a year ago. Greatest dog I've ever had and my best friend for 16 years. I keep thinking about getting a pup but haven't been able to do it. Maybe this spring.

Don't be stupid, go get a dog. You need one and you know it. If you don't want to deal with pup hassle make it a rescue dog. But go get one.

I enjoy Sam every day. We had a little scare a few weeks ago, looked like he might have cancer. Turned out to just be an explosively growing gland which the doc removed. Bullet dodged, but it made me realize how much the little shit means to me. You never replace a dog like Samba or Sam, but you can fill a lot of that big hole with another pup.

I just realized the three most memorable dogs I know of are Sambo, Samba and Sam.

I saw Billy Hamilton & his dog Sava, out at Hanalei Bay surfing on a fair sized day. Billy was without a paddle, but on a SUP sized board. Pretty neat to watch, with the dog stoked and barking, through the Bowl.
