It's been very cool to see this Board evolve over the past few years, and see how many people are getting stoked on hydrofoiling...and watching wind surfing make a comeback as wing surfing! Lots of new stoke.

Zoners,
I just procured a Exocet F91 Windfoil board and am matching it to a Slingshot FWIND1 Foil with Al Mast/Deep Tuttle Box Adapter. Looking forward to light air windfoiling here in San Diego.
The Slingshot uses two beefy M10 Diameter bolts to attach the Foil Mast/Adapter to the Board, however, the Exocet F91 is manufactured to accept two M6 diameter bolts in the Tuttle Box - the smaller two diameter bolts in the pic were provided with the board.
I'm curious, what diameters are most foil and foilboard manufacturers using for Deep Tuttle Mast/Board attachment fasteners? M6, M8, M10?
Looks like I will have to oversize the bolt holes on the new Exocet F91 to accept the Slingshot's M10 diameter mast/adapter bolts...just hoping that won't goon up the board for any other future foil I might want to use.
Once the oversize to M10 is done - perhaps I could custom manufacture a set of shouldered (flanged) bushings to make compatible with foil manufacturers who use smaller diameter mast bolt systems?
Recommendations?
Thanks MAX

Zoners,
I have a friend who just landed in Kona for awhile...she wants to know a great place to rent SUPs and perhaps get instruction (she's a beginner) or SUP Tours...I know some great people who do this in Maui and Oahu, but on the Big Island, not so much.
Any recommendations?

Downsized, way too many SUP and windsurfing boards in the garage...this 2013 JP needs to find a new owner. I got a great deal on this board and will pay it forward to a Zoner. It is located in San Diego County. PM me if you are interested!
Construction: Epoxy Wood Sandwich with High Gloss Finish Length: 10'9" Width: 32" Volume: 189 L
This JP Australia board has been on the water less than five times and is in outstanding condition -- no scratches or dings. This board was equipped with Rail Saver Pro Rail Tape before going on the water. It features a Mast Base Insert for those interested in a crossover board that can also be used for windsurfing. JP Australia is a well known, reliable brand. JP Australia's SUP and Windsurfing boards are manufactured by the Cobra Board Factory in Thailand, well known for its high quality construction of several high end epoxy sandwich board brands (e.g. Starboard, Naish, Amundson).
Mfr. Description: The WIDE BODYs are the most stable boards, because of their width and are therefore the best boards for beginners in flatwater and waves. Big and stable enough for everybody. A perfect family toy! Great SUP and windsurf beginner board as well as a fun board for the advanced SUPer and Windsurfer. The increased length and volume offer extra stability and allows you to experience that planing sensation as soon as the wind picks up. Works perfect for flatwater paddling or a rookie windsurf session in flat water as well as in small waves for SUPing and Windsurfing. If you want a board for the whole family or simply something big -- this is the one.

This lightweight, classic "V2" Glide 14' in GX Carbon construction is in pristine condition...very lightly used, as current owner is more into SUP Surfing. This board is intended for the SUP enthusiast that wants a great touring, cruising, and downwinding board. Board includes a custom Futures Medium (52.3) Triangle Cutaway Fin, rail tape, and comes with a Naish Board Bag custom fitted for this model.
Mfr Description: Designed for directional gliding speed, ocean paddling, long distance cruising and competitive racing. The 14'0″ features a low rocker displacement bow and a flat rocker bottom shape to increase acceleration with each paddle stroke. The recessed deck provides a lower center of effort for stability to increase paddle power and gliding distance. Length: 14'0″ Width: 27 1/4″ Thickness: 5 3/4″ Volume: 270 L Weight: 29.5 lb
Hoping to find a Zoner in San Diego County who would like to take ownership of this beauty!

Lucky nobody was seriously injured...I've always wondered about the probability of this occurring for our Maui friends doing Maliko or Southside runs. Be careful out there!

I've seen and read about quite a few fellow SUP Surfers getting nasty fin cuts over the past couple years, and I've had a couple close calls in our local shorebreak, so I recently invested in a set of Proteck Performance Fins from our local SUP Board Shop. Just after I bought them I got an email from Surfco Hawaii that they are having a 20% Black Friday sale tomorrow, consider checking them out. Details: Save 20% off your entire order this Friday at the SurfCo Hawaii website. Gear up for the winter swell with new Pro Teck fins, Nose Guards, Ding Repair kits and other goodies! Start your Christmas shopping early and help your friends and family surf smart this season! http://www.surfcohawaii.comCOUPON CODE: BLACK14 Valid on 11/28/14 only Happy Thanksgiving

Hello,
Looked around online but could not find any fishing rod holders that would directly screw into the 8mm threaded mast base insert on my Amundson SUP.
Is anyone used their SUP mast base insert for mounting other accessories? Are there adapters available for some of the commercially available fishing rod holders?
