Gear Talk / filling from scuba tank

ok, my friend at work was a scuba instructor in his glory years.
he thinks that getting a tank and some couplers and regulators
you could, in theory, fill an ISUP!
has anyone actually tried it?

Technique / looking for advice,

i have been paddling since september,
to be fair, since i started i have gotten on the lake at every opportunity.
example, i have paddled 8 days this year.

so i have a lot to learn, but i paddle a smallish "canyon lake" (saguaro in AZ)
i struggle with the choppy conditions that i think come from boat wake.
i feel like i am getting better, but any techniques you folks would suggest?
like forward or back on the board?

Travel, Trips, Destinations / traveling with inflatable???

i am flying to Hawaii in February.
my inflatable came with a backpack.
can i just put the backpack on the plane or should
i get some kind of bag/case to give another layer of protection?
