This winter is pretty amazing for downwinders here in Greece. The strong winds continue to blow almost every week and although it is too much cold, we are having a lot of fun on the water. Here is a video from the last weekend. I hope you enjoy it.

Great video. What is the width of the Rail?

Looked like an angry ocean out there. Your board looked like it was gliding very well. Nice background music to go alone with the video too..
Thanks for sharing your video.

Thank you. This is the 26.5" wide model.

Very nice.

Nice one.
Cool you see your old board out there. Are you faster than your buddy or is the Rail faster than the Rage?
-
There is friend on the old Rage, who is a great athlete and he smokes us so it’s not the board but the machine on it.
But the Rail is a very fast board. I am still learning it but I have already done my best times on our usual run.

Great vid.
Has anyone surfed the Rail? One of the things I particularly like about the M14 is how well it surfs (for a 14), and I was wondering if the Rail is the same. There is substantial variation in how well different DW boards surf.

Yep, it shares DNA. Similar but smaller nimbler. More pointy tip and tail. Similar rails.

DK. Nice vid and nice conditions again! Awesome to see you switch from the headmount to the deckmount midway too. You sure do have some of those JR (Jeremy Riggs) foot moves down! 8)

Thanks. In what way is the 14x28 Rail different from the 14x28 M14 then?

^ I haven't seen the x28
It's far racier than your old JL Maliko. Does keep the magic turnability.. Check the pics, pretty much speaks for itself.
I thought a guy near you had one.
You should try the x26.5 as allround board

Yeah, there are some pics of the 14x28 elsewhere on this forum. I'd actually be more interested in that than the 26.5 because I already have so many narrowish all-round type boards for mild downwinding (Vapor 14x26; Ace 15x25; Sidewinder 14x23) as well as Bullet V1s and V2s (27" wide) plus two 30" wide 14ft DW boards for totally ballistic conditions. So actually the 28 might fit the quiver better, as a big conditions DW board, or if I'm just feeling lazy. Plus, that blue JL 14x28 is just so amazingly gorgeous. Wow, I love the look and graphics of that board. That's how a board should look IMO. It looks like a grown-up decided the paint scheme whereas IMO eg. Starboards look like a 4 year-old kid with left-over crayons designed it (and in some cases, looking up close, painted it as well :) )
