Having just been in New York and had my first taste of downwinding in a river in the freezing cold on the Hudson with a couple of mad NY Zoners, I have a new appreciation for this kind of cold weather downwinding. Thanks for posting a vid with new information and imagery for us downwind nuts. Awesome stuff.  8)

Nice video. It take a special type of person who can sup/downwind in cold weather combined with cold water.

Thanks for sharing your video.

Nice video. What kind of camera mount are you using on the tail? Looks pretty good.

Moonsup. I've been looking for this type of setup for some time. Is the Woods Power Grip you are using this one shown on Amazon?

https://www.amazon.com/Woods-Vacuum-Suction-Female-Thread/dp/B00IDF1AC6

How do you connect the Kayalu Radpole to this? Is the 1/4" female thread in the Woods Power Grip compatible with the Ram Mount male 1/4" male thread supplied with the Kayalu Radpole below?

Thanks for your help! Keep on making those great vids!

Off shore, you are correct. Its a woods power grip with female 1/4 thread attached to 1/4" ram "c" (1.5")ball. Connected to radpole 29" which is connect to camera via  a ram "b" (1") ball with garmin virb mount. Gpccity.com has a bunch of ram mounts. Always loctite the threads. I always mount cameras to the board when I get to the water. The c ball can snap if bumped by a branch etc...have fun!
