Anyone tried the Hokua LE series. I look at the description..sounds super strong like a windsurfboard and so I am naturally interested: I'm thinking about the 7'6'' again.and maybe the 8'10''

I've tried the 8'3 and 8'10. I'm 190lbs and the 8'3 is borderline for my weight unless absolutely clean. 8'10 has a little more stability and flotation and both boards are a whole new level once on the wave. 8'10 paddles into waves easier than 8'3 and feels smaller on the wave than the Hokua 8'5. Not sure how that works but board is amazing! More grip and more speed than older 8'5 Hokua and you can easily turn as tight in the pocket. I'm stoked on the board.

Wow. Shit. Damn that is my weight too and my all time favorite is the 9'0''...but always on look out. The tail worries me a bit since it is so skinny...but I am fascinated about getting light bulletproof boards.

Funny you should say that..it was that ad that drew me to check it out..then the description of the boards got me drooling.
