Has anybody tried the Van Der Waal wax alternative? It looks like Hexatraction.

It looks pretty interesting, but I just ordered some Hexatraction from NSI this morning for a new board on the way. Aside from the geometric shape it looks like its different.  I would love to hear some real feed back on it too.

Saw this link when I was looking at the earlier Kai Lenny Foils 50 Miles post.

It's more expensive than Hexatraction (which ain't cheap) and the say "it lasts at least a year". I don't get that. Why wouldn't it last as long as the board?
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.
