That looks exactly like the first version I made. I just bought a scuba mouth piece, inserted a GoPro mount and zip tied it tight.  It worked ok but there was way too much vibration.  The part you bite down on needs to be rigid, like an extension of your head, or else the cameras will bounce around a lot.

I just ordered one like that.  The camera hangs down in front of the chin and the floaty will add stability
when wedged in between according to the designer.

The head/mouth torque during a faceplant that Creek mentions does have me a bit concerned.

Cowboy.. I picked up a new little HTC that may be interesting.  It looks like a candy cane without full hook. It's less than 1/2 the weight of my H3 w/housing ..about 1" in diameter ..and needs no housing.  The shape may lend itself to a number of 'holster' grips. 

"I just have not had the time to mess with it."  (read as: water temps in the upper 30's does not motivate me.)
