2015 Starboard Sprint 14' x 23"

The new Race is getting all the attention in the 2015 Starboard range, and that has concealed the fact that the Sprint has received a considerable facelift and tummy tuck. I suspect it will be hard to beat in flat water sprint racing. It's 14' x 23" (there's no wide boy version), it's recommended for paddlers up to 75kg, and it weighs just over 11kg itself. Gotta say that the Fanatic Flatwater looks much more user friendly with its flat deck and wider platform. I have the 14'x25" 2012 Sprint and found the super recessed deck can drive you crazy. But you're right, the New Sprint is the one to beat in a race, wonder which pros are racing on them.

Bart de Zwart used it in the last SUP 11 City Race, IMHO the ultimate flat water race in the world. The Sprint is hard to beat in the flat water.
